As the Psalmist says, “Praise the Lord!” It is our joy, in the music ministry of this parish, to give God the praise due to His name. There are over 100 parishioners of all ages involved in our music here at Blessed Sacrament. Each one is dedicated to bringing his/her gift to honor God. As director of music, I am amazed at the talent and commitment we have in our community. There are many more in our church family who long to share their gifts. Please be encouraged to join us. Nearly every Mass is musically covered with a choir, a cantor or instrumentalists. It is our goal to glorify God through music of many styles. We all know there is a style we each prefer. However, as we blend styles, each Mass-goer will depart singing his own song to the Lord. The most important message is that we are the members of the greatest musical ensemble, THE SACRED ASSEMBLY, where we fully, consciously, and actively participate in the celebration of the Mass.
