Mission Co-op Appeal will take place next week-end July 10-11. Fr. Paul Kala from Ghana and STYDEC will be here to ask assistance for their projects. Up until Covid-19 came Blessed Sacrament has previously collaborated with the STYDEC school. Fr. Paul is a member of the Missionary Society of St. Theresa of the Little Flower, known as the Theresian Fathers. Their apostolate is Evangelization and Education in the most rural parts of Ghana. There are two main projects for the Mission Appeal, to drill 3 wells in six communities to provide potable drinking water for the children and the second to provide one nutritious meal a day for over 160 children they work with in an after school program in northern Ghana. It cost $7000 to construct one well and a budget of $10,000/yr to feed the children. All funds from the Mission Co-op in our parish will go directly to these two causes. Please listen to Fr. Paul's message and be as generous as possible. Thank you so much!
