Low-income children and working families deserve equal access to academic success and future opportunities, which thousands currently receive through the Invest in Kids Act Tax Credit Scholarship Program. If the Illinois General Assembly fails to take action in 2023 to save the Tax Credit Scholarship Program, 9,500 students will lose their scholarships, causing many to leave their best-fit school. Additionally, the dreams of 26,000 more students on the waitlist will evaporate if the program is reduced or even eliminated. Come out to Christ the King on Monday, October 2 at 6:30 PM for a town hall meeting with State Senator Doris Turner.
